Rates
My rate is $160.00 for a 55 minute session. However, I do offer a sliding scale based on individual needs. Please contact me to discuss how you can get the services you need.
Insurance
I do not accept insurance at this time. Many client’s value their privacy and, for personal or professional reasons, do not want to share the details of their treatment with their insurance carrier. Some wish to avoid the perceived stigma of being labeled with a mental health disorder. Others are concerned about the impact on their insurance rates or the impact it may have on their jobs. Many simply desire to keep it off their insurance records in a world where our personal information seems to be exposed to everyone.
Whatever the reason, nobody needs to know you’re seeking help unless you tell them.
I can provide a “SUPERBILL” that you can submit to your health insurance carrier for potential reimbursement. Please verify your coverage with your carrier before you receive services to ensure you will be reimbursed.
Confidentiality
The law protects the relationship between a client and a psychotherapist, and information cannot be disclosed without written permission.
There are a few exceptions to confidentiality:
- Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse, for which I am required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.
- If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, I must notify the police and inform the intended victim.
- If a client intends to harm himself or herself, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in ensuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, I will take further measures without their permission that are provided to me by law in order to ensure their safety.
Payment
Cash, check or major credit cards.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not provided notification at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the session fee.
